Feret Louis - 28 Fr. Compound fracture of left arm lower 1/3. Caused by exploding shell. Came in 3 days after injury c [with] apparently clean wound following operation to remove foreign body on the field. Two days afterward a good deal of discharge c [with] definite infection. Quinine irrigation & wet dressings 1%. Extension c [wiith] strap glued to forearm. Wound too near elbow for sling. Maximal temp. 100° A questionable wrist drop.
