Abstract
Papers, 1861-1867, including letters, licenses, oaths, orders, photographs, programs, and receipts of the Fitzhugh family of Northampton County, Virginia. Included are letters, parole, and Confederate Flag song written by Philip A. Fitzhugh while in prison in Fort McHenry, Maryland. Also includes a promissory note for the hire of a slave and a loyalty oath of Georgianna Fitzhugh. Of note are programs and circulars from the Atlantic Female College in Onancock, Virginia.
