Abstract

Contains a letter from Alexander Spotswood, Lieutenant Governor, to the Speaker & House of Burgesses regarding the accounts of the overseer of the Governor's House. Spotswood writes that the last appropriation for the Governor's House has not been raised, so he has supplied the money needed to complete it. He also notes that it is no longer necessary to employ an overseer.
